As part of Future Learning Unit, I was selected to facilitate, Measuring Our Environment, a workshop in the New York Fablearn Conference 2019, one of the most prestigious educational conferences on the Maker’s world and Fablabs, that organize Stanford and Columbia Universities.
Coding Robots is an active learning experience co-designed and developed by me to open a door to the participants in the world of robots and computational thinking through making, gaming and virtual reality.
Do It is a 3 years european project which I participate as an active learning experience designer and facilitator. More than 80 kids from two different schools have participated this year.
It’s a 2h active learning experience with the challenge of “Re-Design, Re-Program and Re-conect” any object into a IoT Object in order to involve students in the manufacturing process of a IoT (Internet of Things) prototype, so that they get a general look at these technologies of manufacturing, and mainly understand the technical possibilities that each one provides, what materials can be used, the design processes and associated times.
